There are seasons when the hardest spiritual discipline is simply staying the course. Weariness can make us question what was working, circumstances can become louder than Scripture, and painful episodes can change the way we see everything.
Do Not Confuse Weariness With Failure
Galatians 6:9 reminds believers that there is a due season connected to not fainting. A long process does not automatically mean God has abandoned you or that obedience has failed.
Adjust Your Faith Sail
A sailor cannot control the wind, but the sail can be adjusted. In the same way, faith learns to respond to circumstances without allowing circumstances to become lord.
Come Back Into Agreement
Amos 3:3 forces us to examine what we agree with. Hurt, offense, fear, and incomplete information can shape our viewpoint. God's Word must be allowed to correct our thoughts and attitudes.
Faith Has a Response
Faith is not merely a feeling. Genuine faith responds to what God has said. The issue is often not a lack of knowledge but delayed application of truth we already understand.
Start Where You Are
You do not have to recreate yesterday. Release the weight, forgive, realign with God, and move forward from where you are. Love again. Believe again. Trust again. Stay the course.
